1991 Pacific
Pacific’s first full football set contains 660 standard-size cards. A large base checklist provides a broad team-building project, but a stack of cards is not automatically a complete set. Sort by number and identify duplicates before counting progress.
1992 Pacific and 1993 Pacific
These early follow-ups should each have a separate checklist. Record the language and exact product line from the reverse when a listing is unclear. Pacific produced a wide range of football material; the manufacturer name alone cannot identify a release.
1994 Pacific, 1995 Pacific and 1996 Pacific
The mid-decade issues belong to an expanding market for foil, inserts and premium formats. Do not merge Crown, Prism or other Pacific lines into an annual Pacific base-set project simply because they share the company name. A clearly defined base checklist keeps the collection manageable.
1998 Pacific and 1999 Pacific
The requested run resumes in 1998 and includes 1999. Rookie-year collecting can lead to several Pacific-branded cards of the same player. Preserve the precise line, card number and finish, and inspect any die-cut or decorated edge as part of the condition.
2000 Pacific
The 2000 issue belongs beside, not inside, other Pacific products from the same year. Tom Brady-era searches make this distinction particularly important. Confirm the exact checklist entry rather than relying on a seller’s generic “Pacific rookie” description.
A company collection with boundaries
A collector can build annual base sets, a favorite player’s Pacific portfolio or a design-based type collection. Each is valid, but each counts completeness differently. Write the chosen scope and keep special formats or language editions explicitly identified.
