Start with a clear overview
You do not need to know everything about every item before getting in touch. Begin with the broad categories, approximate number of pieces and location. If the collection has several distinct parts, describe each one rather than treating it as a single unidentified group.
Explain whether you want to sell the entire collection, selected items or either option. A few specific examples help: an artist and print title, a baseball set and year, a Pokémon expansion, a coin date and denomination, or a comic title and issue number. If you do not know an identification, say so rather than guessing.
Show us what you have
Representative photographs are useful for an initial review. Choose a small number of clear images that show the range and the most relevant details. A group view provides context, while close-ups of labels, signatures, edition numbers or visible condition issues answer different questions.
Photographs do not replace an in-person inspection. Do not remove an item from a sealed grading holder or attempt cleaning, pressing, flattening or other treatment to prepare it for submission. Present it as it is. Avoid including personal documents, mailing labels or payment information in your images.
- Start with an overview of the collection.
- Add clear front and back views of representative pieces.
- Include grading labels, signatures or edition details where relevant.
- Describe visible wear, damage, restoration or missing components that you know about.
What happens after you submit
The form saves your inquiry and any accepted images for review. You receive an on-screen reference confirming that the website received the information. Keep that reference if you need to ask about the submission later.
TrendingArt considers whether the collection fits its purchasing interests. We may contact you for more details or to discuss the collection when there is a fit. Submitting the form does not guarantee an offer, a purchase, a particular price or a response within a set period.
Please do not send items to us simply because you have submitted an inquiry. Shipping, inspection and any proposed transaction need to be discussed and agreed separately. An estimated value can help explain your expectations, but it is optional and is not an accepted valuation.
Common questions
Can I submit a mixed collection?+
Yes. Choose Mixed Collection and describe the different categories and approximate quantities. Clear grouping is more useful than an undifferentiated list.
Do I have to include my phone number?+
No. A name and email address are required for contact. A phone number is optional.
How many photos can I upload?+
The form accepts up to five JPEG, PNG or WebP images, each no larger than 4 MB. Use representative photos and mention if you have more detailed records.
