1989 Score and 1989 Score Supplemental
The inaugural set includes familiar Barry Sanders, Troy Aikman and Deion Sanders rookies. Supplemental is a separate release, not merely another name for high-number base cards. Decide whether your collection includes both before describing it as a complete first-year Score project.
1990 Score and 1991 Score Supplemental
The regular 1990 Score set and the Supplemental release are different collecting projects: Emmitt Smith’s familiar #101T rookie belongs to 1990 Supplemental. A lot of regular 1990 Score cards should not be assumed to include it. The requested 1991 Supplemental issue likewise needs its own checklist rather than being merged into ordinary 1991 Score.
1991 Score, 1992 Score and 1993 Score
The early-1990s sets combine large checklists with subsets that can make a player appear more than once. A second photograph is not necessarily a parallel. Match the card number and subset before deciding whether a duplicate has filled a different collecting slot.
1994 Score, 1995 Score, 1996 Score and 1997 Score
These years sit within a growing insert and parallel market. Premium companion brands made by the same corporate family are not automatically Score base cards. Keep base, insert and parallel checklists separate so a lot’s total quantity does not disguise missing regular cards.
1998 Score, 1999 Score and 2000 Score
These seasons span several popular rookie classes, including the 1998 group and Tom Brady’s 2000 issue. Exact player inclusion must be checked by year. A single card’s popularity should not be used to imply that every card in a complete set carries the same demand.
2001 Score through 2005 Score
The 2001 and 2002 base checklists each contain 330 cards. For 2001, inspect the back’s Pack War Rating: ordinary cards carry EE, TT, PP or BB, while TRUMP identifies the separate Trump parallel. For 2002, Changing Stripes, Franchise Fabrics and Inscriptions are separate insert branches, not missing base-card numbers.
The 2003 set assigns #1–275 to veterans and #276–330 to rookies. Beckett notes that #292, #323 and #328 were intended to be withdrawn, although examples reached collectors; those numbers deserve deliberate checklist decisions. The 2004 set grows to 440 cards, with Glossy, Scorecard and Final Score variants kept separate.
The 2005 base set contracts to 385: veterans occupy #1–300, Pro Bowl subjects #301–330 and rookies #331–385. This is a different set-building workload from 2004 even though both are annual Score.
2006 Score through 2009 Score
The 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 issues continue the annual line. Distinguish any supplemental or premium companion product from base Score even if a seller groups them under one brand. For raw lots, inspect a sample from different parts of the checklist rather than judging all cards from the best photograph.
2010 Score through 2013 Score
The requested 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 seasons belong to the Panini era. Rookie representation, uniform photography and parallel structures require year-specific checking. A complete base set is a defined checklist; it does not promise every autograph, insert or color produced under the Score name.
