1997 EX 2000
The EX 2000 label resolves to 1997 E-X2000. Its 102-card checklist uses layered construction with an acetate window and holographic foil. Credentials and Essential Credentials are separate parallel identities; inspect the back and serial numbering rather than relying on front color alone.
1998 EX 2001
The EX 2001 label resolves to 1998 E-X2001. The initial hundred-card acetate checklist was supplemented by Kerry Wood at 101 through a historical exchange. Distinguish the paper exchange card from the delivered acetate Wood card; Essential Credentials parallels require their own identification.
1999 EX Century
E-X Century contains 120 cards, including a thirty-card rookie segment numbered 91–120. Its transparent acetate and holographic crescent distinguish the design. Essential Credentials parallels use their own numbering logic, so preserve the stamped serial number when documenting an example.
2000 Skybox EX
The ninety-card E-X issue returns to conventional card stock with holographic foil rather than the earlier layered acetate format. Prospects 61–90 are numbered to 3,499. Those numbered cards belong to the base checklist and must be considered when describing a complete set.
